Windsor is distinguished by its three well-known product lines and by its reputation for delivering some of the best values in the industry. Windsor offers Pinnacle Wood Clad, Legend Cellular PVC, and Next Dimension Vinyl Windows. Each line focuses on specific customer needs while providing outstanding quality at great value.
Pinnacle Wood Clad
Pinnacle Wood Clad products are made of Clear Select Pine, Natural Alder, or Douglas Fir on the interior with heavy-duty, 0.050 extruded aluminum cladding on the exterior. This extruded aluminum cladding is more resistant to damage, including dents and chips, than other exterior options. The aluminum can be powder coated in one of 50 different finishes in order to provide a durable defense against the elements or primed to provide a surface for future painting.
Legend Cellular PVC Windows
Legend Cellular PVC combines traditional styling with the lasting durability of PVC. Windsor’s unique vinyl extrusion process allows its highly weather resistant PVC to simulate the look and feel of painted wood. Windsor’s process is renowned for producing PVC that resists cracks and swelling, but which is still easy to paint. The Legend product line comes with a 25-year warranty on exterior components, a 20-year warranty against seal failure, and a ten-year warranty on all other parts.
New Dimension Vinyl
Windsor’s approach to vinyl technology ensures easy operation, superior energy efficiency, low maintenance, and high performance. New Dimension windows come in three exterior color options, meet six industry standards as well as eight additional quality tests, are Energy Star certified, and employ galvanized steel reinforcement bars to boost strength. A positive pressure drainage system ensures that excessive rain and condensation are directed away from the interior of the building.
Windsor’s Window Standards
Though Windsor offers three distinct product lines, the company employs similar technologies in regards to glass and seals across its brand. All Windsor seals are produce on fully-automated Lisec® fabrication equipment to ensure accuracy and consistency, reducing seal failures by minimizing human contact with glass. Its Super Spacer dual-seal moisture barrier technology meets or exceeds Energy Star guidelines in all climate zones and provides for more comfortable living for homeowners. The LoE 366 glass used by Windsor alters the way light is transmitted, reducing heat loss in the winter and heat gain in the summer. The glass also provides ultraviolet protection, reducing fading of wood, furniture, drapes, and carpet.
